Career Opportunity Development, Inc. (CODI) founded in 1970 was originally known as the Atlantic County Opportunity Center for the handicapped.

Back then, programming was provided for approximately 25 individuals. Throughout the past 32 years we have expanded our services to meet the needs of those we serve which last year totaled
1080 unduplicated consumers.

What started out as a small storefront day program has evolved into a professional service agency
offering vocational training, supported employment, residential services and welfare to work training and job placement.
