A MESSAGE FROM CODI's PRESIDENT AND CEO

As I reflect upon my more than 30 years of involvement with this incredible organization, I am extremely thankful for the many friends of CODI and honored to lead a team of CODI staff members have chosen a profession that affords them the opportunity to have a direct and positive influence upon the lives we touch daily.

I am also truly grateful to the members of CODI’s Board of Directors who volunteer their time, energy, resources, and expertise to help ensure CODI’s mission is met and that quality programming continues to meet the needs of our community.  I take great pride in knowing that every day holds the promise of a new beginning and a future filled with endless opportunities for those we serve.  These opportunities would not be possible if it were not for the continued support of parents, guardians, and sponsors who remind us daily that individuals with disabilities want more, can do more, and with a solid support system are able to lead independent, purposeful lives.  In addition, I appreciate community leaders who routinely advocate through legislation for individuals who are often least able to advocate for themselves.  Without these supports, programs provided through CODI would not exist.

To donors, corporate partners, and individuals who participate in our fundraising events, volunteer, or provide work opportunities for various CODI programs we applaud your involvement.  These supports enable us to provide services to meet the needs of many whom we serve.

Most importantly, I would like to thank the over 1,200 unduplicated consumers we serve annually who routinely show us that leading productive and independent lives is no longer a dream but a reality.

        Sincerely,
        Linda L. Carney
