Housing and Support Services for Individuals with Opioid Use Disorder
Career Opportunity Development, Inc. (CODI) provides housing assistance and intensive case management services to individuals in Atlantic County, New Jersey who have a documented history of opioid use disorder and are currently experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless.
CODI supports participants in locating and securing stable housing while also offering comprehensive case management services. Our staff assists individuals in accessing public benefits and securing sustainable employment. Additionally, our Peer Recovery Mentor works alongside individuals on their recovery journey, helping them achieve their personal goals and maintain long-term housing stability.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be 18 years of age or older

Have a documented opioid use disorder

Provide documentation of current homelessness or risk of homelessness

Submit the following documentation:

Birth Certificate
-
Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID
-
Social Security Card
-
Proof of opioid use disorder diagnosis

Proof of homelessness or risk of homelessness

Updated Proof of income
-
Please note: CODI only accepts applications from individuals diagnosed with an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Submitting an application does not guarantee housing availability.

CODI adheres to all state and federal non-discrimination laws in its application and intake processes.

Applicants are responsible for notifying CODI of any changes to their application or personal information.

Once your documentation is reviewed, you will be contacted to schedule an interview.

You will receive an automatic email confirmation upon submission of your application. If you do not receive a confirmation, please re-submit your application via our website.

CODI will contact you within 10 business days of receiving your completed application.

If you have not heard from us within 10 business days, please call our main office at 609-965-6871.

Applications are valid for 90 days. After this period, a new application must be submitted.
